Manager Marine Operations

Job Overview : The Manager Marine Operations manages a team of Engineers for the preparation and execution of offshore installation operations, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Education :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Extensive knowledge & experience of offshore EPCI / T&I projects including execution, safety management, budget control, schedule control and quality control management.
• Familiar with international codes and standards.
• Good communication, coordination and organizing skills the ability to work with minimal supervision and liaise effectively and efficiently with other team members and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills and integrity.
• Stakeholder Management skills - Proven ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external parties.
• Delivery orientated. Able to manage time and meet deadlines.
• 15 plus years of experience in the oil and gas industry with Major Contractors.
• Experience managing a team of more than 8 Engineers.
• The following experience is required : oExperience of deepwater SURF operations – subsea structures, pipelay, flexibles, umbilicals. oRigid pipelay installation - minimum of 4 projects.

oFlexible, umbilical, and flying lead installation - minimum of 4 projects. oSubsea structures & jumper installation - minimum of 4 projects. oPre-commissioning for pipelines, umbilicals, and control systems - minimum of 3 projects.
