We are currently seeking Application Support Engineer, based in Malaysia to join our team as we expand our operations in the region. You will work with a passionate team of engineers to support and maintain next-generation cloud-based contact centre solution in the region. You should be a customer-focused, results-orientated individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day product system support to end users within established Service Level Agreement and quality standards via call and email.
- Monitor application performance, conduct routine health checks, respond to alerts, proactively resolve problems and ensure high system availability and reliability
- Document support activities, maintain technical guides, and contribute to knowledge bases and runbooks.
- Deploy and verify platform updates, patches, and configuration changes following change-management procedures.
- Assist with system integrations, infrastructure maintenance, and production deployments (including outside office hours as needed).
- Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to escalate issues, deploy updates, testing and resolve bugs
- Participate in standby and on-call support rotations for 24 / 7 production environments as required.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).Bilingual speaking and writing in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking customers and associates in view of business communicationExcellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.Customer-focused mindset and ability to prioritize under pressureAdept at multitasking and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Possess self-initiative and able to work independently and collaborative with people at various levelsUnderstanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP) and Linux servers (Nice to have).We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
