Sourcing Specialist

Position : Sourcing Specialist (Medical Devices / Electronic Manufacturing) - Remote

Industry : Healthcare (Medical Devices & Technology)

Working Duration : 12-Month Contract (with possibility of extension)

Working Day / Hours : Monday - Friday; normal working hour

Working Location : Remote

Salary : Basic up to RM10,000 (Based on experience + skills) with statutory contribution + leave entitlement + medical insurance

Industry Preference : Open to all industries. Background in Medical Devices or Electronics Manufacturing is highly desirable.

Scope of Work

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting company sourcing operations by managing supplier activities, executing sourcing projects, and driving cost optimization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure compliance, efficiency, and value delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing activities, including workflow initiation, legal checklist, P2P, supplier technical review, supplier transitions, SPMC, and TLC analysis.
• Conduct RFQs (data collection & package creation).
• Develop and execute business cases to support sourcing decisions.
• Support PIP (Productivity Improvement Projects) between materials team and suppliers.
• Conduct supplier outreach, selection, and follow-up.
• Align sourcing strategies with cross-functional business partners.
• Analyze cost structures, tariff impacts, total landed cost (TLC) impacts / savings, and supplier capabilities.
• Maintain sourcing documentation and reporting in partnership with the PMO office.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, trade, and internal sourcing requirements.
