Government Relation Manager

Penerangan pekerjaanBachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Regulatory Affairs, Business Administration, or a related discipline At least 7 years of experience in regulatory affairs or government relations Experience working directly with Malaysian government agencies such as KPDN, PDP, Customs, SIRIM, and JAKIM Medical Miscellaneous allowance Dental Sports (e.g. Gym) Vision Outpatient Medical Card, Yearly Performance Bonus
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end process of obtaining and renewing all required licenses and regulatory approvals for the company, including the direct selling license and product certifications.
- Build and manage relationships with key government agencies such as KPDN, PDP, SIRIM, and local authorities.
- Oversee halal certification efforts, coordinating directly with JAKIM and certification bodies to ensure that documentation, product updates, and audits are handled smoothly and in accordance with national requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate regulatory readiness into business planning and ensure all product compliance requirements are met before market launch.
- Monitor regulatory and policy developments, and advise leadership early to prepare the business for their impact.
