What You’ll Be Doing :
- Support the Section Head and Department Head with strategic purchasing plans and material planning.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of purchasing activities to keep raw materials flowing to the production line.
- Maintain great relationships with suppliers to secure on-time deliveries and keep optimal inventory levels.
- Participate in supplier development, audits, and performance reviews alongside department leaders.
- Lead and guide a team of purchasing staff in daily activities : purchasing, shipping, delivery follow-up, receiving, and issuing materials.
- Coordinate with departments like Sales & Distribution, Production, R&D, and Finance to align on inventory, spare parts, and manufacturing needs.
- Champion safety, health, environmental practices, and quality standards within the team.
