Sales Executive

Bangsar South , covering the Klang Valley and Kuala Lumpur zone, who can convince the best restaurants in Malaysia to join foodpanda. This role reports to the
Sales Team Lead
in the
Commercial

Responsibilities
Drive B2B sales by seeking and securing new partnerships with vendors. Be passionate about the food and beverage industry with a desire to sign up the best local and international vendors. Act as the local market expert : know the best restaurants and shops in Malaysia and provide recommendations. Gather feedback from restaurants and shops, monitor competitor activity, and provide recommendations for improvements to management. Be the brand ambassador : conduct cold calls and walk-ins, schedule in-person meetings, and sell foodpanda services to potential vendors including tiptop shops and restaurants in Malaysia. Exceed sales targets and performance-based goals while working independently. Participate in the international network and work as part of a high-skilled team. Take responsibility for the business from day one and gain an inside perspective of our fast-growing business. Manage a portfolio of vendor accounts (restaurants and shops) and exceed goals for account retention, development, and maintenance. Qualifications
At least 2 years of sales experience in consulting, e-commerce, or startup environments preferred. Flexibility to accommodate non-traditional restaurant hours. Outgoing and confident in appearance. Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and under pressure. Proactive with the ability to lead independent projects. Out-of-the-box thinker who challenges the status quo. Background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, startup / tech environments preferred. Fluency in English (corporate language) with strong communication skills; additional languages are a bonus.
