About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Controller to play a key role in managing project cash flow and monitoring overall project performance. You will be responsible for consolidating financial data, tracking project schedules, and providing timely updates to stakeholders using progress reports and Gantt charts.
This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent coordination abilities, and effective communication to ensure project targets are met within scope, budget, and timelines. You will work closely with project, engineering, finance, and management teams to ensure seamless execution of EPCC projects.
Key Responsibilities :
To analyze financial information (e.g. expenditures and cash management) to ensure all project implementations are within the budget, including identify and analyze variances between actual and budgeted expenditures.
2. Responsible to combine all the project budgets and cashflow management together into a consolidated cashflow to estimate all project funding required.
3. Assist in preparing on-going project's weekly and monthly report by monitoring, updating and compiling project information and status from project and engineering department and finance department.
4. Assist in organizing weekly / monthly meetings to update on-going projects' status to the management and project committees.
5. Assist in preparing project progress claims to clients, work with site engineers / supervisors to verify projects' progress to date.
6. Assist in preparing and track project status using Project Gantt Chart for on-going EPCC projects.
7. Assist in preparing financial & physical S-Curve of projects
8. To undertake special assignments, ad-hoc projects, and related duties as and when required.
Requirement :
1) Possess Diploma or higher education in Business studies / Administrative / Management or equivalent.
2) Preferable with 1-2 years of working experience in project controlling, financial planning, or cashflow management (experience in EPCC / engineering projects is an advantage).
3) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advance Level, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis).
4) Knowledge of project planning tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Primavera) is added advantage.
5) Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
6) Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
7) Good communication skills with a proactive and positive working attitude.
8) Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply, especially for those who are equipped with strong MS. Excel skills and basic understanding of financial concepts (e.g. cashflow, budgeting).
