Environmental Officer

Key Responsibilities :

• Planning for environmental management at the project site to ensure compliance with environmental legislation and the client's requirements, and keeping up to date with changes.
• To carry out monitoring and auditing on all environmental issues.
• To carry out environmental management requirements as per the Project Environmental Management Plan and as per the contract.
• Prepare and present reports, proposals, technical documentation, and submit environmental reports as per contract to the client.
• Perform environmental inspection at the site and submission of the monthly report to the Project Manager.
• To record and document all environmental accidents.
• Conduct environmental awareness training and develop schemes for recycling, pollution reduction and prevention.
• Liaise with local authority / regulatory bodies (DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, auditor, etc.) on matters of environment and safety.

Key Requirements :

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or an equivalent Degree in a related field.

Minimum 2 years of working experience in the construction industry.
