Key Responsibilities :
- Planning for environmental management at the project site to ensure compliance with environmental legislation and the client's requirements, and keeping up to date with changes.
- To carry out monitoring and auditing on all environmental issues.
- To carry out environmental management requirements as per the Project Environmental Management Plan and as per the contract.
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, technical documentation, and submit environmental reports as per contract to the client.
- Perform environmental inspection at the site and submission of the monthly report to the Project Manager.
- To record and document all environmental accidents.
- Conduct environmental awareness training and develop schemes for recycling, pollution reduction and prevention.
- Liaise with local authority / regulatory bodies (DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, auditor, etc.) on matters of environment and safety.
Key Requirements :
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or an equivalent Degree in a related field.
Minimum 2 years of working experience in the construction industry.
Competent person with CePSWaM or relevant certification, certified by DOE and DOSH and experience in ISO 14001 Auditing would be an added advantageAble to work independently, possess initiative and be responsible.Able to work under pressure with the least supervision.
