Director of Sales

As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for leading the sales strategy and driving revenue growth for the Iconic Marjorie Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio property located in Bayan Lepas, Penang. This full‑time role is pivotal in ensuring the hotel's commercial success and achieving its ambitious growth targets.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing plans to promote the hotel's offerings to target markets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including negotiating and securing contracts with key accounts and prospective clients.
• Manage and motivate the sales team to exceed revenue goals through effective leadership, coaching and performance management.
• Collaborate closely with the hotel's management team to align sales efforts with the overall business strategy.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and tactics.
• Prepare detailed sales forecasts, reports and presentations to track performance and inform decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with the hotel's policies, procedures and brand standards.
