Overview
Director of Business Development - Central Asia at Libertex Group. You will have full P&L responsibility and lead a high-performing matrixed team across sales, marketing, operations, and support functions to achieve ambitious growth targets. This is a high-impact, strategic leadership role that requires a visionary leader with proven success in Central Asia. You will develop and execute the regional strategy, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for Central Asia, aligned with the Company's global vision
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability
- Conduct market analysis and competitor research to stay ahead of industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly
- Define and communicate a clear vision for the region, inspiring and motivating the team to achieve exceptional results
- Own the full P&L for Central Asia, managing budgets, forecasting, and financial performance
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize ROI and achieve financial objectives
- Implement effective cost control measures while ensuring sustainable growth
- Lead and mentor the sales and marketing teams to achieve aggressive revenue targets
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies tailored to the location
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and distributors
- Oversee brand development and positioning in the region
- Ensure efficient and effective operations across all functions
- Implement and optimize processes to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction
- Manage supply chain, logistics, and distribution networks effectively
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to team members
- Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate headquarters, regional partners, government agencies, and industry associations
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences
- Effectively communicate regional performance and strategy to the executive team
- Ensure all operations within the region comply with local laws, regulations, and company policies
- Maintain the highest ethical standards and promote a culture of integrity
Requirements
Minimum of 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5+ years in a senior management role with P&L responsibility within Central AsiaProven track record of driving significant revenue growth and profitability in the regionExperience in Fintech is preferredExperience managing diverse, cross-functional teams with matrixed reporting linesBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field requiredMBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferredFluent in Russian and strong English language skills (B2 and above). Other Central Asian languages are beneficialExceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsStrong strategic thinking and analytical abilitiesDeep understanding in Central Asia of the business environment, culture, and market dynamicsDemonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholdersStrong financial acumen and experience managing complex budgetsAbility to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentBenefits
