The Head of Sales is responsible for leading the company's overall sales strategy across all leasing segments, including passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, machinery, equipment, and new business ventures. This role ensures sustained growth, market expansion, and alignment with corporate objectives while fostering strong client relationships and high-performance teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop the sales and marketing teams to build a high performance culture.
Set clear objectives, performance goals, and accountability standards for the division.
Provide training, coaching, and career development opportunities for staff.
Foster collaboration and cross-functional teamwork to drive unified business outcomes.
Prepare and manage annual sales budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Monitor revenue streams, costs, and profitability across all leasing segments.
Optimize pricing strategies to balance competitiveness and profitability.
Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas of improvement and drive cost efficiency.
Sales & Business Development
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets across all leasing segments.
Identify new market opportunities, emerging business areas, and potential partnerships to expand the company's footprint.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, government bodies, and industry stakeholders.
Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking to ensure achievement of sales targets.
Drive innovation in leasing products and solutions to meet evolving client needs.
Operational Management
Oversee the execution of day-to-day sales and client engagement activities across multiple leasing segments.
Establish efficient sales processes, systems, and reporting structures to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate efficiency and service delivery.
Ensure alignment of sales activities with other business units, including Operations, Finance, and Customer Service.
Marketing & Brand Strategy
Develop and implement strategic marketing and brand initiatives to enhance visibility and market positioning.
Plan and oversee advertising, promotional, and digital marketing campaigns across platforms.
Monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and market demands to refine marketing strategies.
Ensure a consistent corporate image and brand presence across all sales and marketing channels.
Lead the development of product positioning, pricing strategies, and value-added service offerings.
Market Research & Product Development
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor strategies, and industry developments.
Lead the design and introductions of new leasing packages, service models, and business solutions.
Drive continuous improvement through customer feedback and market intelligence.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure all sales and marketing activities comply with legal, regulatory, and corporate governance standards.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with leasing contracts, client relationships, and business transactions.
Implement policies, processes, and controls to safeguard the company's interests.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in sales leadership, with exposure to leasing (automotive, machinery, equipment, or related industries).
Proven track record of achieving corporate sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong business acumen, financial management skills, and market insight.
