Responsibilities
- Assist in the structuring and execution of financing transactions, including term loans, Sukuk, syndicated facilities, and other funding instruments.
- Support and participate in negotiation, documentation, and closing processes for financing and investment transactions, under the guidance of the HOD / Directors.
- Assist in preparing financial models, scenario analysis, and investment appraisals (NPV, IRR, DSCR, payback, etc.) for renewable energy and infrastructure projects, subject to senior review.
- Support in preparing management reports, board papers, and presentations for corporate decisions, project evaluations, and investor engagements.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating corporate performance against budget, forecast, and long-term business plans.
- Assist in group structure and corporate development matters, including incorporation of entities, participation in joint ventures, liaison with company secretary, and coordination of statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Support corporate governance and compliance follow-ups, including coordination with external advisors and maintaining proper documentation of corporate actions.
- Assist in applications for tax incentives, government schemes, and regulatory approvals, ensuring timely submission with oversight from senior management.
- Support business development and bidding activities, including preparation of financial inputs, participation in tender processes, and coordination with project partners.
- Assist in reviewing business acquisition and investment opportunities, including preliminary due diligence and transaction assessments, with recommendations escalated to senior management.
- Coordinate with banks, investors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to support smooth progress of financing and project planning activities.
- Participate in market research, policy tracking, and competitor analysis relevant to the company’s expansion in renewable energy.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. A postgraduate qualification (MBA, CFA, etc.) will be an advantage.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, investment banking, project finance, or corporate finance advisory.Experience in supporting deal execution, such as loan syndication, term sheet preparation, or project financing arrangements.Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with ability to build and interpret project finance models under senior review.Good understanding of capital markets, banking products, structured financing solutions, and tax incentive frameworks.Exposure to infrastructure or renewable energy transactions is an advantage.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to prepare clear reports and liaise effectively with banks, investors, and senior stakeholders.Strong initiative, commercial awareness, and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.Team player with a collaborative mindset and willingness to support senior management in critical tasks.Application Questions
