Job Title : Science & Mathematics Teacher

Job Summary :

UCSI Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Teacher with expertise in Science and Mathematics . The successful candidate will deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that foster curiosity, analytical thinking, and a strong foundation in STEM. This position requires both subject mastery and a commitment to nurturing students’ intellectual and personal growth within an internationally-minded school community.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Science (Lower and / or Upper Secondary) and Mathematics in alignment with the school’s curriculum framework (e.g., Cambridge IGCSE, national curriculum, or equivalent).
• Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans , teaching materials, and assessments that promote deep understanding and application of scientific and mathematical concepts.
• Foster a student-centered, inquiry-driven learning environment that encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and independent learning.
• Use a range of teaching methodologies and digital tools to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.
• Monitor and assess student progress, provide constructive feedback , and differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Integrate real-world applications , interdisciplinary approaches , and STEM connections to make learning relevant and meaningful.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure curriculum coherence, share best practices, and contribute to continuous school improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, prepare progress reports, and communicate proactively with parents and guardians.
• Promote a positive classroom culture that supports respect, responsibility, and academic excellence.
• Participate actively in school events, co-curricular activities, science or math competitions, and professional development programs .
• Uphold the school’s mission, values, and commitment to holistic education.
