Responsibilities
- Support the QAQC Manager in planning, implementing, and maintaining the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 : 2015 & ISO 14001 : 2015 and other relevant standards.
- Develop, review, and update product specifications, testing protocols, and quality assurance procedures.
- Oversee product quality inspections, testing, and evaluation to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations (including RoHS, SIRIM, etc.).
- Lead the investigation, resolution, and documentation of customer complaints, ensuring corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are effectively implemented.
- Supervise, monitor, and evaluate the performance and achievements of subordinates, providing regular coaching, mentoring, and disciplinary guidance where necessary.
- Plan and conduct training programs for QA / QC staff, including new employee induction, technical training, and refresher sessions.
- Coordinate internal and external audits (ISO audits, corporate audits, customer audits, supplier audits), and ensure timely closure of non-conformities.
- Oversee calibration and verification of testing and measuring equipment, ensuring records are properly maintained.
- Review, approve, and monitor product samples and testing processes to maintain product reliability and quality.
- Provide technical support to customers and prospective clients regarding product quality, testing methods, and certifications.
- Ensure all product certifications, licenses, and renewals are completed before expiration dates.
- Assist the QAQC Manager in departmental reporting, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead or participate in quality improvement projects, root cause analysis, and cross-functional problem-solving.
Qualifications / What you need
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or related discipline.Experience : Minimum 2 years of working experience in QA / QC (manufacturing / production environment preferred). Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.Strong understanding of ISO 9001 : 2015, ISO 14001 : 2015 and other relevant standards (RoHS, Green Building certification, FM Approval, and others is an advantage).Proficient in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, SPC, CAPA).Knowledge of calibration, testing equipment, and laboratory procedures.Familiar with legal and regulatory requirements related to product quality and safety.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software / tools.Personal attributes : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented, systematic, and able to work under pressure; strong commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.Languages : Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken); Mandarin is an added advantage.Benefits
