Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic IT Planning & Leadership
- Develop and implement the college's IT strategy aligned with institutional goals.
- Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Lead and mentor the IT team to deliver reliable services and innovative solutions.
2. Infrastructure & Systems Management
Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and end-user devices.Ensure uptime and reliability of IT systems, internet, Wi-Fi, LMS, SIS, and ERP platforms.Manage data backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.3. Cybersecurity & Compliance
Implement and monitor IT security policies, firewalls, and antivirus solutions.Safeguard college data, student records, and intellectual property.Ensure compliance with local regulations (e.g., PDPA, MOHE guidelines).4. Support for Teaching, Learning & Administration
Provide IT support for online learning platforms (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, MS Teams, Google Classroom).Maintain academic systems such as student information systems, library systems, and examination platforms.Support staff and students with hardware / software troubleshooting and training.5. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Explore and recommend emerging technologies to enhance student learning experience and administrative efficiency.Implement digital transformation initiatives (cloud solutions, AI tools, smart classrooms).Collect feedback from stakeholders and drive continuous IT service improvement.Key Requirements
Education & Qualifications :
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.Experience :
Minimum 5–7 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.Experience in higher education sector or similar environment preferred.Skills & Competencies :
Strong leadership and people management skills.Excellent knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, databases, and cloud computing.Familiar with educational technology platforms and ERP systems.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with academic and administrative staff.Job Type : Full-time
Pay : RM4, RM5,500.00 per month
