Assistant Manager

Penerangan pekerjaanDevelop and implement category-level pricing strategies to optimize profitability while maintaining competitiveness. Monitor market pricing and adjust strategies to align with business objectives and customer expectations. Analyze category performance, including sales trends, margins, and inventory turnover. Identify growth opportunities and address underperforming products by leveraging data insights. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and promotional support. Negotiate contracts, terms, and service agreements to ensure cost efficiency and consistent supply. Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute category-specific promotions and campaigns. Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and make data-driven recommendations for future activities. Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained by working closely with the supply chain team. Monitor inventory health to minimize overstock or stockouts. Work cross-functionally with merchandising, operations, and sales teams to align category strategies with overall business goals. Provide guidance and training to store teams on category priorities and initiatives. Stay attuned to customer preferences and feedback to refine category offerings. Conduct market research to understand emerging trends and adjust strategies suppliers to secure the best terms. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in category management, retail merchandising, or a similar role. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends. Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management abilities. Proficient in inventory management and pricing strategies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners. Strategic thinking with a customer-centric approach.
