Production Planning & Optimization Lead

Responsibilities

• To work with management in coordinating and planning production activities to improve production time.
• To plan raw materials and manpower requirements to execute and meet production schedules.
• To analyze delays and interruptions in production (such as downtime) and execute its improvement plans.
• To monitor the execution of production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timely manner.
• To be responsible for the timely issuance of slitting Advise and Production Schedule for production facilities in the plant.
• To schedule different production shifts according to production needs.
• To interact with manufacturing personnel, the purchasing department and on raw material status and production planning issues.
• To coordinate with sales department and analytically advise SFM or CEO for effective planning and scheduling of production shifts.
• To manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of supportive divisions (such as Factory Admin, Steel Servicing Centre, Human Resource, Material Planning & Purchasing, Production Planning and Inventory Control) through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication.
