We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive / Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth, expanding networks, and strengthening our market presence across Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand in the areas of logistics, warehousing, transportation, and forwarding.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive sales for import, export, and transhipment shipments between Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.
- Actively explore new business leads and opportunities.
- Engage in networking with potential customers, logistics associations, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Manage medium to large-scale business tenders, ensuring professional and compelling proposals.
- Prepare and deliver impactful presentations to clients and management.
- Monitor and prepare monthly sales performance reports, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of business strategies.
- Undertake other assignments as determined by management.
- Travel occasionally for business purposes, both domestic and international.
Requirements :
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in logistics, shipping, and sales environments.Strong proficiency in English is essential; the ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin and / or Malay will be highly advantageous.Proven experience in managing business tenders and delivering persuasive presentations.Proficiency in MS Excel with strong analytical and reporting skills.Self-driven with a positive, can-do attitude and a strong sales-driven mindset.Excellent interpersonal, networking, and communication skills.
