General Manager

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on General Manager – Maintenance to lead and drive the maintenance strategy for our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will come with strong exposure to autoclave processes, highly automated plant operations, and large-scale factory management.

Job Responsibilities :

• Lead and oversee the full spectrum of plant maintenance activities including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and utility systems.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure equipment uptime, reliability, and compliance with safety standards.
• Spearhead continuous improvement projects focusing on automation, cost optimization, and energy efficiency.
• Manage a sizeable team of engineers, technicians, and contractors across shifts – including performance management, development, and succession planning.
• Collaborate closely with production, EHS, and engineering teams to support manufacturing efficiency, quality standards, and safe work practices.
• Prepare and control maintenance budgets, CAPEX proposals, and spare parts inventory.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve critical equipment failures.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations and internal audits.
