Responsibilities
Payroll Management :
Process monthly payroll in compliance with local regulations, including salary calculations, overtime, deductions, and bonuses. Statutory Contributions :
Ensure accurate and timely submission of statutory contributions (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, EIS). Payroll Records & Reporting :
Maintain accurate payroll records and provide reports as needed. General HR Administration :
Maintain up-to-date employee records and HR databases. Compliance :
Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and best HR practices. Employee Support :
Assist with employee queries on HR-related matters, including benefits, leaves, and policies. Legal Awareness :
Stay updated on changes in local labor laws and HR best practices to ensure compliance. Company Events and Employee Engagement
Engagement Activities :
Assist in planning and organizing company events, including team-building activities, sports tournaments, celebrations, and employee recognition programs. Promote employee engagement and foster a positive work culture through regular activities and feedback sessions. Program Development :
Assist in developing programs to improve employee morale, motivation, and retention. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Diploma in Human Resources or related fields may also be acceptable, especially for junior roles. HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR can be an advantage. Required Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels and handle sensitive issues professionally. Strong interpersonal skills to manage employee relations and address queries. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively. Attention to detail when processing payroll, handling employee records, and organizing events. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines, especially when handling recruitment, payroll processing, and performance appraisals simultaneously. Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential employee and company information.
