Overview
Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Coordinator
Ensure full compliance with Section 29A of the OSH (Amendment) Act 2022 ;
Liaise with DOSH , CIDB , and other regulatory bodies regarding safety requirements and inspections;
Maintain records of all safety-related documents, inspections, and actions taken;
Support and monitor the implementation of the company’s ISO 45001 : Occupational Health and Safety Management System ;
Assist in internal audits and support external certification / recertification processes;
Ensure regular review and updates of safety procedures, risk assessments, and emergency response plans;
Prepare safety documentation and coordinate site visits or interviews in line with China HQ Safety Audit requirements;
Conduct regular safety inspections at both site and office locations;
Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement appropriate control measures;
Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe practices;
Conduct safety inductions for employees;
Promote safety awareness and cultivate a positive safety culture across departments;
Coordinate with HR or external bodies for training and certifications (e.g., First Aid, Fire Drill);
Maintain and test emergency response procedures;
Ensure availability and serviceability of first-aid kits, fire extinguishers, PPE, etc;
To ensure the Integrated Management Systems and Anti-Bribery Management System procedures are implemented.
