Oversee contract obligations, including pre-contract and post-contract management, and prepare final accounts for infrastructure, building, and defect rectification works.
Verify claims and recommend payments to contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
Lead the Purchasing Department, approving materials needed for project completion.
Plan, schedule, and monitor tender processes :
Review tender documents and specifications.
Conduct tender interviews and clarifications.
Evaluate costs and consider alternative construction methods to achieve competitive pricing.
Handle all contractual disputes and ensure timely resolution.
Conduct compliance reviews to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
Prepare project budgets and control construction costs, including variation orders, within the budget.
Perform site inspections to monitor work progress and ensure compliance with contracts and specifications.
Verify and prepare progress claims and final claim certifications, including final accounts for all contracts.
Monitor contractor performance on workmanship, compliance, and adherence to schedules and instructions.
Execute additional responsibilities, such as feasibility studies and cost planning, as assigned by superiors.
Requirements
Diploma / Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or related fields.
Minimum 10 years of experience in purchasing, contract administration, planning, cost control, and contractual matters.
Strong analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Established contacts and resources with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Ability to manage tight deadlines, schedules, people, and assets.
Excellent communication skills, with a preference for technical writing experience.
