This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a unique personal journey : documenting and promoting a 2,200km run around Peninsula Malaysia. The Social Media Manager will play a key part in shaping the digital narrative of this adventure, creating engaging content, and building an online community. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, experienced in social media strategy, and understands how to connect with diverse audiences. This is a remote position open to candidates based in Malaysia, with a commitment of more than one week.
Deliverables
- Develop and execute a content plan to document the running journey across multiple social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
- Capture, edit, and publish photos, videos, and stories that highlight key moments and milestones
- Engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster a supportive online community
- Monitor analytics to optimize content performance and audience reach
- Collaborate closely with the project owner to ensure authenticity and alignment with the project’s vision
