A&A - MY - TAS Manager
Role Overview :
As a senior staff in Deloitte’s Transaction Accounting Support Group, you will be part of a dynamic team that supports clients through complex capital market transactions, with a strong emphasis on IPO-related audit engagements. You will contribute to high-quality audit execution, regulatory compliance, and client readiness for public listings.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in planning and executing audits for IPO engagements, including Singapore and Hong Kong listings.
- Review financial statements and disclosures to ensure compliance with IFRS, SFRS(I), and relevant listing requirements.
- Support the preparation and review of prospectuses and offering documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Identify and resolve technical accounting and reporting issues related to IPO readiness.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring quality and consistency in audit work.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications :
At least a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Obtained, pursuing, or strongly motivated to pursue Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.Minimum 3 years of audit experience, preferably with exposure to capital markets or IPO engagements.Strong understanding of IFRS and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).A strong understanding of relevant listing rules (e.g., SGX, HKEX) is a plus.Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Candidates must be resident in Malaysia, or have the right to work in Malaysia.
