The role focuses on engaging building and construction stakeholders to drive spec-to-sales activities, provide technical and consultative selling, manage project leads from concept to completion, and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve business targets.
Responsibilities :
- Lead, coach and supervise the Specification Specialist, in carrying out their specification and sales activities for Lysaght products and solutions in the construction projects identified, as per target and KPI defined.
- Regular and periodic tracking and monitoring of specification pipeline and sales conversion, ensuring alignment to company sales target
- Formulate and execute the segment strategy and value chain stakeholders engagement programs, to promote Lysaght products and solutions, and to sustain the spec and sales pipeline.
- Plan and supervise the technical talks and presentations calendars to the project stakeholders, including but not limited to Architects, consultants, engineers (AEC) , Quantity surveyors (QS) and building owners.
- Promote and upsell the premium tier products and best solutions for the projects whenever possible, closely follow up on team's progress on project leads, to mitigate and prevent specification conversion.
- Manage specification pipeline process of the team, including involvement in technical and specification negotiation process with key stakeholders within the pipeline steps.
- Represent Company as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the assigned project / constriction sub-segment(s), spearhead in working with internal stakeholders to develop, promote and share the best practise, solutions and service offers needed by the sub-segment(s).
Requirements :
Possess a bachelor's degree in science, Engineering, or other related discipline (Metallurgy / Chemical / Civil / Structural) from a recognised institute or university.At least 5 years' experience as specifier / specification specialist, / key account manager, and / orExperience as a Specification or Sales Manager, or in similar capacity of managing a team of specifiers / sales persons.Experience in technical / consultative selling will be added advantage.Experience in Building & Construction Industry will be an added advantage.
