Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day‑to‑day operations delivery, drive governance & change management with the client in collaboration with all enabling teams – Transitions, Transformation, People.
- Ensure period‑end close activities are performed according to agreed close schedules and that accounting policies comply with GAAP and company norms.
- Lead new transition and work on all project deliverables as per defined tollgates.
- Work closely with other Accounts Departments to understand business transactions and ensure they are processed and accounted for accurately.
- Ensure process governance including reporting and analysis to key stakeholders – communicate regularly to discuss operational issues, key metrics, CTQs (internally & / or externally).
- Review and analyze the team’s output for appropriate accounting treatment, completeness, and accuracy related to general accounting, reporting, narratives.
- Guide team to prepare quality narratives and other reporting schedules.
- Understand the SOX Regulations and ensure adherence by the teams at all times.
- Act as point of escalation to resolve accounting and reporting related issues on time and ensure all queries are dealt with correctly and efficiently.
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements to systems or other processes to maximize the use of information system resources to develop comprehensive reporting models.
- Provide day‑to‑day management of the cross‑functional team in assigning and monitoring deliverables, and motivating and leading the teams to enhance performance and work product.
- Develop the team through effective performance management and monthly appraisals.
Qualifications
Bachelor or equivalent degree with accounting or financial management major; CPA preferred, advanced degree is a plus.Experienced, mature and solid professional with experience in finance and accounting (all‑rounded exposure in F&A & Capital Services; financial knowledge).Worked experience with pharma or healthcare industry.Proven track record of running operations in a large organization, leading big teams.Excellent communication and interpersonal skill, proficiency in Mandarin & English.Preferred Qualification
Experience in ERP & Legacy.Prior experience in transition would be preferred.Experience in handling RTR Tools (e.g., Blackline, HFM / HFC, workflow, etc.).Exposure to digital tools in RTR / F&A domain.Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills.Expert capability in generating meaningful insights from large and disparate data sources.Ability to communicate ideas and analytics concepts.Experience using Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik.Proficiency in MS Office suite.Good analytical and problem‑solving skills and ability to handle team and client discussions.Prior exposure to the complex work environment.Open to work across shifts as per the business requirement.Benefits
