The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and visionary Creative Director (Art) to lead our in-house creative team. You will play a pivotal part in shaping our brand across markets and platforms — from digital campaigns and integrated advertising to product and experiential design. Working closely with marketing, product, and business stakeholders, you will create compelling, cohesive, and effective creative work that reflects our brand ambition and drives business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of designers, art directors, and visual storytellers across regional offices.
- Own the visual identity and elevate the Carro brand across all consumer and business touchpoints.
- Provide clear art direction, constructive feedback, and mentorship to ensure consistently high standards of craft and execution.
Campaign Development
Conceptualise and drive 360° creative campaigns from brief to execution, including digital, social, print, OOH, video, and content.Collaborate with the Copy Lead / Creative Director (Copy) to ensure a unified voice and vision across campaigns.Work alongside content, operations, and performance teams to ensure creativity and effectiveness are balanced and aligned with KPIs.Brand Strategy & Governance
Maintain and evolve the Carro visual brand guidelines to ensure consistency across regions and platforms.Advocate for design excellence and creative innovation within the wider organisation.Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in a creative agency or equivalent in-house creative leadership role.Proven track record of developing standout, insight-driven campaigns across digital and traditional channels.Strong portfolio showcasing high-calibre art direction, design, and campaign thinking.Experience managing and mentoring creative teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Deep understanding of Asian cultural nuances and visual languages.Ability to balance creative ambition with business objectives and performance metrics.Comfortable presenting to and influencing senior leadership stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in tech, mobility, or automotive sectors is a strong advantage.Proficiency in creative tools (Adobe CC, Figma, etc.).Familiarity with video content creation, motion graphics, and emerging AI formats.Why Join Carro?
