FP&A / Business Planning Manager

Penerangan pekerjaanEvaluate Investments : Lead the financial appraisal and post-mortem analysis of key commercial initiatives, including new product development (NPD), major marketing campaigns, and trade spend effectiveness. Margin and Pricing Analysis : Develop sophisticated financial models to analyze pricing strategies, product gross margins, and cost structures to ensure optimal profitability and market competitiveness. Business Intelligence : Develop and refine KPIs and financial dashboards, leveraging business intelligence tools to monitor daily performance across retail outlets and distribution channels. Ensure adherence to corporate governance policies and maintain high standards for data accuracy and reporting integrity. Identify and drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, leveraging technology to enhance the speed and efficiency of budgeting and forecasting. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is a strong plus. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A or Commercial Finance, with at least 2 years in a management or senior analytical role. Experience within the FMCG or Retail industry, with a deep understanding of trade spend, inventory dynamics, and multi-channel profitability is a strong plus. Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and presentation skills (ability to clearly communicate complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders). Proven ability to operate as a proactive business partner who challenges the status quo and influences commercial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Forecasting
- Own the Planning Cycle : Lead the end-to-end financial planning process, including annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-range strategic planning for the entire Malaysian business unit.
- Drive Commercial Insights : Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to translate strategic goals into measurable financial targets and operational plans.
- P&L Management : Conduct comprehensive variance analysis on the P&L (Budget vs. Actual, Forecast vs. Actual), providing insightful commentary and proactive recommendations to drive efficiency and meet profitability targets.
