Procurement Senior Executive - OEM Division
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or any related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing preferably in manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures, import / export regulations, and LMW requirements.
- Skilled in SAP or other ERP systems - procurement module.
- Strong negotiation, analytical and supplier management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with suppliers and stakeholder expectation.
- Cost-conscious with proven ability to drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple open orders effectively.
Scope of duties : 1.Procurement
Purchase materials and components required for production at competitive pricing in line with inventory levels, lead times, and production schedules.Source and qualify new suppliers or alternative materials / components when necessary.Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery lead time, and contractual terms.Evaluate supplier quotations, perform cost analysis, and recommend the best options.Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders and ensure timely issuance.Coordinate material deliveries to maintain uninterrupted supply for production.Communicate proactively with suppliers to prevent or resolve supply disruptions.Report promptly on any procurement risks or issues that may affect production.Maintain accurate procurement records and transactions in SAP / ERP systems.Ensure full compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.2.Supplier Management
Communicate with suppliers on orders, risks, and performance.Conduct evaluations and assessments of current and potential suppliers.Actively communicate with supplier for any order updates, risk mitigation or any issues arising.Conduct supplier evaluation with related parties to evaluate supplier performance.Conduct background study on potential suppliers to evaluate the capability, qualifications, financial risks etc.3.Logistics
Coordinate delivery arrangement of raw materials and componentsPrepare and verify shipping documents for inbound deliveriesLiaise with freight forwarders, transporters and warehouse on receiving schedules.Handle custom clearance and documentation, including LMW where applicable.4.Others
Work together with related departments whenever needed.Ensure employees conduct 5S activities in the work area. Ensure cleanliness of the work area, especially in the clean room.Attend meetings as representative as needed.Any other ad-hoc tasks which are related to the job scope.Remuneration Package :
