Source and procure raw materials, packaging, and other required items from local and overseas vendors.
Conduct product research, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate for best pricing, quality, and terms of agreement.
Ensure all sourced materials and products comply with relevant standards and certifications (e.g., Halal, food safety, statutory regulations).
Issue and follow up on Purchase Orders, delivery schedules, and shipment coordination (including outstation and overseas).
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with vendors.
Evaluate supplier performance regularly based on quality, delivery time, cost, and compliance with company requirements.
Verify suppliers’ certification status (e.g., Halal, ISO, HACCP) and ensure renewals are kept up to date.
Resolve supply, service, quality, compliance, and invoicing issues promptly.
Inventory & Warehouse Coordination
Monitor stock levels and place orders when necessary to ensure business continuity.
Assist warehouse team with monthly stock take, inventory inspections, and discrepancy resolution.
Ensure proper receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely delivery of goods.
Support warehouse housekeeping, safety, and process improvement initiatives.
Documentation & Reporting
Verify vendor invoices and input them into the system accurately.
Maintain updated records of suppliers, certifications, deliveries, invoices, and stock levels.
Prepare reports on purchases, cost analysis, supplier compliance, and stock performance.
