KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Required to constantly review, introduce and upgrade safety, security and emergency policies, procedures and training programs and modules aimed at improving security and safety functions.
- Develop and implement safety and security plans for the company’s buildings / premises. Evaluates safety and special security requirements of high-risk areas and provides technical advice. Lead scheduled safety drills from employees and patrons in the business.
- Maintain records on unusual incidents; establish, create, update and maintain standard operating procedures and manuals, filling systems and control access to confidential information. Address and resolve highlighted concerns regarding safety, security or performance that require management attention.
- Promote awareness and adherence to occupational health and safety regulations (e.g, OSHA and ISO 45001)
- To liaise with Police and any other law enforcement / government agencies / authorities and local councils on all matters with regards to all or any security and safety issues affecting the Company, its operating companies, subsidiaries and associate Companies.
- To establish, manage and maintain good relationships with the Police and any other law enforcement / government agencies / authorities involved in Safety and Security.
- Manage the company security and safety operations.
- Performs adhoc duties as and when required by the Management.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Diploma or Degree in criminal justice, occupational health & safety or related field. Additional certification in security or occupational safety will have an added advantage. (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, First Aid). Preferably registered as a Safety and Health Officer with NIOSH.Minimum 5 years of working experience in the Police / Armed Forces with a strong background in investigation, management and firearm licensing / administration / operation.Strong knowledge of safety regulations, emergency response and risk assessment.Physically and medically fit with no criminal record.Closing Date : 5 November 2025
