Exam & Timetabling Unit Executive

Methodist College Penang Pykett Campus is looking for an Executive to support our Exam & Timetabling Unit with the daily operation activities. What you will be doing :

Prepare the required timetable accurately and in a timely manner by working closely with academic and non-academic departments. Assist in blocking ad hoc venue requests and advise on availability based on the master timetable. Collect and collate timetable data from allocated areas and various sources, then input, analyze, and manipulate to achieve desired results. Resolve any cross-department scheduling issues by adjusting and updating the timetable or booking slots for the respective stakeholders. Provide administrative support for all examination matters. Plan, organize, and administer examination activities and schedules. Ensure the integrity and proper maintenance of examination records in the system. Plan and organize post-examination activities. Liaise with the partner university, external examiner, lecturers, and other related departments on examination matters. Ensure that examinations are conducted in adherence to exam policy and guidelines. Organize and maintain the invigilators' filing records. Process and issue examination results in line with examination board requirements and department policies and procedures. Perform any other duties as assigned by the direct superior, Deputy Registrar, or the Senior Management Team. Who are we looking for?

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields. Computer literate with good IT skills and proficient in MS Office and MS Excel. Preferably with 1 year or more of experience in a tertiary education institution. Preferably an organized, self-motivated individual who thrives under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
