Penerangan pekerjaanDiploma / Degree in Business, Finance, or related field Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in hire purchase collections, recovery, or related financial services Strong knowledge of Hire Purchase Act 1967, repossession process, and legal recovery procedures Proven ability to manage delinquent portfolios and achieve collection targets. Familiar with handling repossession, auction, and litigation cases Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills Able to work under pressure in a target-driven environment. Fluent in English & Bahasa is a must and good command in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Job title : Collections & Recovery, Assistant Manager
Salary : MYR 8,000
Location : Kuala Lumpur
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan and execute effective collection strategies to meet monthly recovery and cashflow targets.
- Lead and manage the collections team.
- Monitor overdue accounts and implement appropriate action plans.
- Oversee repossession, asset recovery, and auction process for hire purchase assets.
- Review daily / weekly aging reports and track portfolio NPL (non-performing loan) ratios.
- Negotiate repayment arrangements, settlements, and restructuring plans with customers.
- Coordinate with external debt collection agencies, repossession agents, and law firms for legal action.
- Ensure collection activities are conducted professionally, in compliance with Hire Purchase Act 1967 and other-related Malaysian laws and fair collection practices.
- Train, coach, and motivate the team to improve collection effectiveness and professionalism.
- Prepare management reports on collection performance, delinquency trends, and recovery rates.
