B2B / Foodservice Area Representative - Southern Malaysia (Based in Johor)

Arla Foods, a farmer-owned cooperative and home to leading dairy brands (from Lurpak butter to Castello specialty cheeses). Our cooperative principle enables close relationships with our farmers and drives us to do the best for our farmers, colleagues, our milk, our consumers, and the environment. Arla Pro, the foodservice business unit, delivers quality dairy products to chefs and foodservice businesses globally. We are seeking regional Foodservice Representatives with strong commercial acumen to contribute to growth and strengthen Arla Pro’s presence in Malaysia’s foodservice sector.

Responsibilities

• Promotes Arla Pro’s products and services by collaborating with a local distribution partner within an assigned geographic area in Malaysia to meet revenue targets.
• Pursues business leads, identifies, researches and contacts prospective customers, and builds relationships that generate future and repeat business, including partnerships with key stakeholders in the foodservice industry.
• Assesses customer needs and suggests appropriate solutions that may include products and / or services.
• Performs product troubleshooting for end customers with solutions backed by technical knowledge.
• Works with cross-functional teams to launch new products and execute joint marketing initiatives in the designated area.

What Will Make You Successful

University degree with several years of relevant experience (min 5 years) or extensive relevant work experience (10+ years) with vocational or technical education. Ability to work independently and proactively manage daily operations. Expertise in dairy and food ingredients and ability to address product and technical inquiries from chefs, R&D and foodservice operators is advantageous. A curious mindset, strong business acumen, and analytical thinking will help you navigate a dynamic environment. You should be a reliable, passionate ambassador for Arla Pro and foster a respectful, collaborative work environment.
