Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist (Malaysia)
- Provides local and remote IT support
- Responsible for installation, maintenance, and support of system software and hardware.
- Provides advanced technical support in Windows environments , often requiring research and troubleshooting.
- Assists with system administration, monitoring, upgrades, and maintenance of infrastructure.
- Maintains domains, servers, and applications across the enterprise.
- Deploys, administers, and supports vendor and in-house applications and associated hardware.
- Performs customization, testing, and debugging on enterprise applications.
- Operates under moderate supervision , sometimes leading small technical projects.
- Familiar with desktop support
- Familiar with Service Now ticketing system
- Fair knowledge and troubleshooting skills on Microsoft products eg Office 365, Azure, Outlook, Teams
- Fair knowledge on Active Directory, OneDrive, Sharepoint
- Up to date on Windows OS, Cloud infrastructure
- Able to work rotationally on weekends / public holidays
- Able to work on shifts (6AM - 2PM, 8AM - 4PM)
Key Responsibilities
Monitor performance and proactively administer systems and in-house applications .Prepare and share regular performance, project status, and infrastructure reports .Maintain data, software, and hardware security , including backup and emergency procedures.Work with hardware vendors to coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance.Evaluate, install, and test system and network hardware / software.Assist in upgrading systems and planning for future infrastructure improvements .Troubleshoot medium to complex system issues both locally and remotely.Communicate and coordinate effectively with system administrators and users using standard processes.Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 end-user support using approved tools and meet IT-defined SLAs.Document system administration and user processes clearly and accurately.Continuously expand technical knowledge through training and self-learning.Familiar with ITIL and Agile methodologies and understanding of ITSM processes .Skills & Technical Expertise
Strong communication and presentation skills.High initiative , flexibility, teamwork, and eagerness to learn.Excellent consultative interpersonal communication style.Ability to deliver clear, structured, and value-based demonstrations .Physical ability to install and handle data center hardware.Deep knowledge of Windows Server 2019+, VMware ESXi, Windows 11, and MS Office suites .Mandatory experience with the O365 environment (administration and support).Unix / Linux troubleshooting knowledge – added advantage.Proficient in Microsoft Cloud solutions and licensing .Familiar with network concepts (Cisco CCENT / CCNA level).Innovative, reliable, and dedicated team player; curious about new IT technologies.Strong customer service and interpersonal skills when engaging internal stakeholders.Education & Experience
