Overview
The Assistant Manager, Business Planning and Analytics plays a pivotal role in supporting strategic financial management within the Group Corporate Banking division. The role involves driving business performance reporting and analytics, formulating and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), managing operating expenditure, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making (e.g., Risk-Adjusted Return on Capital (RAROC) analysis and Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) analysis).
This role contributes directly to the bank’s growth and operational efficiency by enabling data-driven decisions and maintaining financial discipline.
Responsibilities
- KPI Formulation and Tracking : Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs to measure business performance and drive strategic initiatives.
- Business Performance Reporting : Prepare and analyze performance reports, offering actionable insights to senior management.
- RAROC Analysis : Conduct RAROC analysis to assess the risk-adjusted profitability of business activities and guide decision-making.
- Data Analysis : Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to provide insights and recommendations for business improvement.
- Operating Expenditure Monitoring : Monitor budgets and expenditures to maintain financial control.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work cross-functionally to gather data and ensure accurate reporting.
