Head of Unit Trust Operations

Hong Leong Asset Management – Damansara, Selangor

Monitor processing of client on-boarding and transaction submission by cut-off time on a daily basis.

Perform screening checks on client applications to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Provide leadership and support to team members in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of unit trust operations through improvements to each function.

Handle and resolve clients' queries and report the customer issues to relevant parties.

Ensure timely production of regulatory and management reports.

Prepare and update SOPP to streamline overall process flow in unit trust operations.

Perform User Acceptance Test (UAT) for system enhancement and communicate the system issues in a timely manner.

Job Requirements

Possess Bachelor Degree in Banking, Finance, Business Management or any equivalent.

Minimum 8 years of working experience in fund management operations with 5 years of supervisory experience.

Strong knowledge in unit trust operations.

Strong understanding of unit trust products.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Good interpersonal, leadership and people management skills.

Strong planning and organizational skills.

Fluent in both spoken and written English and Malay.
