Trade Marketing Specialist

Penerangan pekerjaanBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in trade marketing, FMCG, retail or related industries preferred. Understanding of trade marketing concepts, retail dynamics, and promotional strategies. Ability to plan, implement, and monitor in-store activations with high compliance to brand guidelines. Competence in analyzing sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to recommend improvements. Excellent verbal and written communication to work effectively with internal teams, retailers, and external partners. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance in relation to financial services. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or GWS is an advantage Experience in the fintech industry would be advantageous. Proficiency in English, Malay, and Chinese is advantageous.
About The Team
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trade Marketing Specialist to support our brand and product growth in the market. This role will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing initiatives, coordinating with sales and merchandising teams, and ensuring effective in-store visibility and promotion. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, a keen understanding of retail dynamics, and the ability to translate marketing strategies into impactful trade activities. Experience in fintech or related industries is an advantage.
Job Description
- In-store & on-site visibility : Ensuring planograms, POSM display are set up exactly as planned. Maintaining brand guidelines and visual consistency across all outlets.
- Merchant & staff engagement : Conduct in-store training, campaign and promotion updates. Conduct merchant surveys, gather feedback and recommend areas of improvement at retail level.
- Competitive monitoring : Collect competitive intelligence, identify market trends, assess rivals' strategies, and uncover opportunities for differentiation.
- Field execution excellence : Support execution of hygiene audits and assist in gathering on-ground data and documentation.
