Gaming QA Tester (Contract) at MON Co. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

What You Can Expect to Work On :

Create, execute test cases and analyse results to help ensure the quality of the product
Develop and follow test plans efficiently
Create logs to document testing phases, defects, and track bugs
Report bugs and errors to development teams
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Proactively demonstrate initiative, and help troubleshoot issues
Conduct post-release / post-implementation testing
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process
Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities

Requirements

Experience : Proven experience with a minimum of 1-3 years of work experience as a Quality Assurance Tester in the gaming industry or similar role. Experience testing with multiplayer games is a plus

Technical Skills : Familiar with project management and QA methodologies, as well as software like Jira, Notion, Asana, Shotgun, Excel, Project, Confluence, or equivalents. Must also have experience with Unreal Engine.

Communication : Ability to communicate with stakeholders and the team as a whole in an effective and concise manner

People Management : Able to work as part of a team, and proven record of cross functional collaboration

Problem-Solving : Analytical mind, Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
