Manager - Electrical

Responsibilities

• Manage daily Electrical department operations and manning.
• Implements cost control and cost saving activities.
• Oversee and manage preventive maintenance of electrical machines / instruments such as motors, inverters, starters, etc.
• Provide support and guidance to Engineers / Foreman / Technicians in troubleshooting and / or addressing critical issues at production line.
• Facilitate improvement / upgrading of process automation (PLC / SCADA) in line with Industry 4.0 intiatives.
• Implement LEAN project and cost saving related to electrical energy and process waste reductions.
• Work with Production and Maintenance Department in coordinating machine shutdown works.
• Work with Senior Manager to formulate short-, medium- and long-term plan for department manning and succession planning.
• Work with Senior Manager to formulate sustainable strategies to improve departmental operations and improve machine efficiencies.
