Since it was established in 1999, our Client has grown to become one of the largest glass suppliers in Malaysia. It is the one and only "One Stop" glasssupplier of its kind that provides end-to- end solutions. The Company offers design services, manufacturing and delivery right to the doorstep. The core team comprises packaging specialists with combined experience of over 100 years in the glass industry. They provide designer glass packaging catering to a wide range of glass products, various closures and labels.Glaspak's business model focuses on outsourcing production, similar to big companies like DELL and NIKE. They have specialists with strong technical capability in glass manufacturing and is able to optimize costs by operating in minimal or zero tariff markets.

They are now looking to hire a mature and seasoned finance professional, possibly retired, who can support the treasury functions and cashflow operations.

Responsibilities

General functions of a finance Manager / Assistant Manager including

• Support treasury functions, able to make suitable recommendations to improve efficiency
• Support cashflow operations ie ensuring suppliers are paid on a timely basis, updating on outstanding receivables etc
• Report to the Operations Director and the Group MD and flag them on a timely basis on issues that require their attention
