We are looking for a Sales Engineer with a Civil Engineering background by providing technical sales support for solutions mainly in corrosion protection, along with abrasion-resistant systems, refractory engineering, thermal insulation, and online hotspot repair.
You will collaborate with clients from industries such as power generation, oil & gas, cement, petrochemical, and steel manufacturing.
- Develop and execute structured sales strategies targeting heavy industrial sectors, including power plants, refineries, cement, and chemical manufacturing.
- Identify potential business opportunities via market research, shutdown schedules, tender listings, and industry networking.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in target sectors.
- Strategize to promote the company's core solutions such as corrosion protection (main priority), abrasion-resistant linings, refractory installation, thermal insulation, and online hotspot repair services to plant operators, engineering consultants, and EPC contractors (Engineering, Procurement, Construction).
- Build strong, long-term relationships with plant engineers, consultants, procurement teams, and maintenance managers, for early-stage involvement in project design and specification, enabling long-term sales potential across project phases.
- Provide technical consultation and product demonstrations to clients.
- Maintain updated client records, sales leads, project pipelines, and proposal statuses using CRM tools.
- Generate a Monthly Customer Visit Report, summarizing key client interactions, site visits, feedback received, issues raised, and follow-up actions required.
- Support the team in documentation for RFQs, pre-qualifications, and contract finalizations.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, production, logistics, and QA / QC teams to ensure product delivery and project timelines are met.
- Assist in any ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3-5 years of sales and marketing experience in the corrosion protection industry or a related fieldBachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering. A background in corrosion engineering is an advantage.Knowledge in refractory installation methods or thermal insulation systems.Experience working with EPC contractors or asset owners in plant maintenance cycles.Experience in digital marketingSpecified knowledge & experiences in :
