Penerangan pekerjaanCandidate must possess a Bachelor in Nursing and holds a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC). A registered nurse with the Nursing Board of Malaysia. Possess post basic qualifications in Midwifery, Community Health Nursing or Gerontology. Minimum of 5 years clinical working experience as a registered nurse. Possess a teaching methodology certificate is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for undertaking teaching, research, scholarly activities, and academic development.
- Provide direction, leadership, and day-to-day management of educational activities.
- Conduct clinical assessment / practical examination or Objective Structured Clinical Examination when due.
- Monitor student report progress in terms of academic performance and attendance.
- Set examination papers and maintain quality standards.
- Provide student support activities such as tutorials, mentoring, and educational counselling sessions.
- Participate in curriculum review and accreditation process.
- Observe nursing students in clinical posting if necessary.
- Assist in marketing activities to promote nursing programs.
