JOB SUMMARY
The post holder will be responsible for creating, planning and project-managing a range of marketing materials, events and campaigns to a variety of stakeholders, including current and prospective parents, community and media, in both print and digital form. The post holder will report directly to the General Manger and will also work closely with the Admission Team as well as IT Team.
The post requires good experience in schools' marketing and an appreciation of the aims of independent education. It requires autonomous decision-making on print, digital and design projects and a high level of project management skills, broad working across the school community and the management of the Marketing and Events Team. The post holder will be responsible for liaising with Common Room and other teams to come up with solutions to marketing and communications needs.
The Marketing Manager will have overall day-to-day management of digital, print and social communications across the School and Prep School.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Advertising and Brand
- To work with advertising agency to book space and design adverts, ensuring all in budget and on time
- To manage ongoing liaison with schools guides and publications re opportunities, late space and features
- To develop logos and style guides as needed
- To be the Brand Guardian for all print, digital and publications, ensuring correct colours, typefaces, crests are used throughout
Publications
To design new and bespoke publications for various school needsTo project-manage the publication of school mattersTo manage reprints and updates to ongoing publicationsTo work with the Marketing Coordinator to print publications on time and on budgetTo take responsibility for advising on publications requested by other departmentsEvents
To project-manage events in the school marketing calendarTo take overall responsibility for developing and managing events such as Culture Forums and The Arabic Language DayTo help with the design of conferences and forums and to project-manage conferences and feeder school eventsTo book speakers to school events and project-manage themMedia
To build relationships with journalists and create regional opportunities for stories and featuresTo work with Media Agency to capitalise on national stories and opportunitiesDigital
To manage web content and developmentTo plan and oversee any re-designs of school websitesTo draft and edit website contentTo plan social media campaigns across the schools and oversee contentTo work with Admissions to create bespoke campaigns on social media to fulfil recruitment needsTo manage the analysis of social media, preparing six-monthly reportsPhotography & Film
To manage the development of short filmsTo work with internal and external film specialists to plan and develop content for the websites' managementTo undertake a full review of the marketing and events programmes across both schools, coming up with new ideas to develop and project-manageTo meet regularly with other teams to develop new marketing solutionsTo manage the day to day workload of the Marketing Team at both schoolsQualifications and experiences
At least a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a Business Degree.3 years or more of experience in the same field.Technology training and an understanding of design and media production is a plus.Job Types : Full-time, Permanent
