Overview
As an Operation Executive in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry, you will oversee daily outlet operations, ensure profitability, maintain service standards, and support team performance across multiple locations. You will coordinate between management and outlet teams, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement in service quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure assigned outlets operate efficiently, profitably and in alignment with company standards.
Serve as a communication link between outlet teams and management.Support and supervise the daily operations across all designated outlets.Training & Team DevelopmentTrain, motivate, supervise and evaluate F&B service staff according to company guidelines.
Prepare and update training materials for new hires and existing team members.Conduct scheduled on-site training covering operational procedures and customer service standards.Compliance & AdministrationPrepare and manage all documents related to PBT applications and ensure timely license renewals.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, safety and licensing regulations.Assist with food safety audits and support the Halal compliance department.Handle and resolve customer complaints and outlet-level issues promptly.Liaise with stakeholders such as suppliers, licensing bodies PPM, MACP and advertising authorities.Performance Monitoring & ReportingReview daily opening and closing reports from each outlet and ensure complete submissions.
Track and follow up on daily reports submitted by outlet supervisors.Prepare weekly performance reports, covering stock levels, staffing and operational matters.Monitor outlet CCTV footage regularly to ensure adherence to SOPs and identify areas needing attention.Prepare necessary reports and documentation required by the Head of Department (HOD) for audits and outlet performance reviews.Expansion & Special AssignmentsAssist in the setup and opening of new outlets, ensuring smooth operational readiness.
Travel to outstation locations as required by management to support or supervise operations.Cover both Klang Valley and outstation outlets as part of operational responsibilities.Carry out any ad-hoc duties assigned by the immediate superior or management.Daily ResponsibilitiesEnsure each outlet is adequately staffed to support daily operations.
Manage manpower planning across outlets in line with labor cost guidelines.Review opening and closing reports from all outlets, follow up with the person-in-charge (PIC) and ensure all reports are submitted accurately and on time.Review supervisors’ daily reports and log any operational issues or concerns.Conduct outlet visits and prepare reports covering outlet cleanliness and overall condition, staff behavior and performance, product quality and consistency, stock availability and discrepancies, and any additional issues or operational concerns.Weekly ResponsibilitiesPlan staff schedules based on outlet operational needs.
Compile and report weekly labor cost data.Conduct monthly staff performance appraisals (typically during the third week of each month).Job Requirements
Minimum Diploma in any field with at least 3 years of relevant experience in the F&B industry.Experience in outlet or restaurant management is strongly preferred.A team player with leadership skills, independent and pleasant personality.Professional, mature and able to interact with both staff and customers in a courteous manner.Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (required for communication with stakeholders).Must possess own transport and be able to travel between outlets including outstation locations.Willing to work long or irregular hours as needed.#J-18808-Ljbffr
