Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for both store and HQ roles within the assigned area.
- Work closely with hiring managers to forecast and fulfill manpower needs.
- Ensure timely onboarding and orientation for all new hires.
- Act as the main point of contact for employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary issues.
- Promote positive employee relations and maintain workplace harmony.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Implement and oversee performance appraisal systems.
- Support supervisors in handling performance improvement plans (PIPs).
- Identify and recommend high-performing staff for career growth and promotion.
- Assess training needs and coordinate with the training department to deliver programs.
- Support in-house and external training initiatives.
- Evaluate training outcomes and monitor employee skill enhancement.
- Oversee payroll inputs, attendance, leave management, and HR administration.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF, etc.).
- Maintain proper HR records and documentation.
- Analyze manpower utilization and recommend optimization strategies.
- Manage headcount within approved budgets.
- Support manpower planning during peak periods (festive seasons, promotions, etc.).
- Participate in salary benchmarking and job evaluation exercises.
- Administer staff benefits and welfare programs.
- Monitor overtime, allowances, and ensure cost control in staff compensation.
- Prepare HR reports such as turnover rate, absenteeism, and headcount analysis.
- Participate in internal and external HR audits.
- Lead and supervise HR team members (officers / assistants).
- Provide coaching and mentoring to enhance team capability.
- Collaborate with other departments on HR initiatives and projects.
