Position : Account Manager - Federal Government Sales

Responsibilities

  • Establish and grow relationships with Federal Government clients; enhance engagement; develop account planning and business & sales plans to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Manage a set of Federal Government accounts, providing differentiated customer services; collaborate with internal teams and partners to deliver competitive value propositions.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle for government accounts from lead generation to closure : nurture prospects, coordinate demos and trials, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • CRM management : register & qualify opportunities, maintain healthy funnels, consult with supervisor, share deal progress, and execute sales initiatives.
  • Build account plans and deals roadmaps; ensure cadence of pipelines, funnel, and forecast.
  • Prepare proposals and presentations for deal forums, pricing forums, investment forums & business reviews.

What you need to have

  • Tertiary education in a relevant field.
  • Total 5–7 years of progressive experience in government sales, preferably within ICT / Technology / Telecommunication.
  • Existing relationships with federal government accounts preferred.
  • Strong communications, PR, strategic, execution, and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with key customers and operations.
  • Positive, collaborative, proactive, disciplined, energetic, and leadership-oriented mindset.
  • Able to perform under pressure in a challenging environment.
