About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Secretarial and Accounts Assistant to join our growing team at SWG Tax Management Sdn. Bhd. in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. This full-time role will provide critical administrative and accounts support to our operations, playing a key part in ensuring the smooth running of our business.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing secretarial and administrative assistance to the clients, including diary management, submission of AR and Financial Statement by using MBRS, XBRL to SSM, scheduling meetings, preparing resolutions, minutes and relevant documents.
  • Handling incoming correspondence, both written and verbal, and directing enquiries to the appropriate team members
  • Assisting with various accounting tasks, such as data entry, invoicing, and reconciling accounts
  • Maintaining and updating office records, files, and databases
  • Supporting with other general office duties as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in a secretarial or administrative assistant role, preferably within an accounting, secretarial or professional services environment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional telephone manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (SQL, UBS, Superior Secretarial is an added advantage)
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices
  • With relevant accountancy, administration, secretarial full or part qualification. Fresh graduates are welcome
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality
