Key Duties and Responsibilities
Reservations Handling
- Respond promptly and professionally to reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Process reservations, amendments, and cancellations in the IDB System.
- Ensure accurate input of guest details, billing information, and special requests.
- Confirm reservations and communicate clearly with guests.
Guest Relations & Service
Provide courteous assistance to guests with inquiries on room types, rates, promotions, and packages.Promote upselling opportunities (room upgrades, hotel services, F&B promotions).Liaise with guests regarding special arrangements (e.g., early check-in, late check-out, group bookings).Handle complaints or issues tactfully and escalate to the supervisor if necessary.Coordination & Communication
Work closely with Front Office, Sales, and Housekeeping to ensure smooth guest arrivals and room readiness.Assist in managing group reservations and ensure proper coordination with relevant departments.Maintain effective communication to support a seamless guest experience.Administration & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of reservations and cancellations.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reservation reports.Monitor booking trends and report unusual patterns or discrepancies.Support the Reservations Supervisor in achieving occupancy and revenue targets.
