Penerangan pekerjaanCollaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to incorporate market intelligence, promotions, and new product launches into forecasts. Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve forecasting models. Data Analysis & Reporting Prepare regular demand reports and dashboards for management review. Identify demand risks, opportunities, and deviations from plan, recommending corrective actions. Work closely with supply chain, production, and procurement teams to align supply plans with demand requirements. Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to provide data-driven insights. Communicate forecast changes to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner. Process Improvement Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve forecast accuracy and planning efficiency. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field. 2–5 years in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analysis. Experience with statistical forecasting methods and demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Knowledge of ERP / MRP systems. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines.
Overview
The Demand Analyst supports the day-to-day operations of the supply chain team by assisting with procurement coordination, inventory management, and data entry tasks to ensure efficient and accurate supply chain processes. This role also plays a key part in supporting customer service functions by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and acting as a liaison between customers and production to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
In addition, the Demand Analyst is responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to provide actionable insights. By identifying trends and generating reports, this role supports strategic decision-making and continuous performance improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Forecasting & Planning
Develop, maintain, and update short-term, mid-term, and long-term demand forecasts using statistical models and historical data.
Analyze sales history, customer orders, and market trends to identify demand patterns.
Support the implementation of demand planning tools and systems.
